Classification and comprehensive evaluation of rock collapsibility in Jinchanggouliang Gold Mine

  • The scientific evaluation of rock collapsibility is crucial for the efficient development and safe mining of mineral resources. This study, taking the deep-hole stope at the 19th middle level of No. 56 vein in Jinchanggouliang Gold Mine as the engineering background, conducted physical and mechanical tests on the rock and obtained the dominant joint groups of the roadway. Subsequently, multiple grading evaluation methods were employed to grade the rock collapsibility. To further enhance the scientificity and adaptability of the grading results, a fuzzy theory model was introduced to integrate the evaluation results of the four grading methods, achieving a systematic and comprehensive assessment of the rock collapsibility. The research results show that the collapsibility grade of the ore body in No. 56 vein of Jinchanggouliang Gold Mine ranges from grade Ⅱ to Ⅲ, and that of the surrounding rock ranges from grade Ⅰ to Ⅱ. The overall rock collapsibility grade is comprehensively determined as grade Ⅱ (difficult to collapse), providing a significant reference value for the collapsibility evaluation of engineering rock masses.
