Application and analysis of unmanned aerial vehicle photogrammetry technology in governance and restoration of geological environment of mines

  • In the process of geological environment governance and restoration of mines, the total station or GPS positioning measurement technology is usually applied to mapping. This will bring difficulties such as high intensity, long cycles, and high cost. In particular, geological hazards such as potential landslides and collapses at waste rock piles pose safety hazards to the mapping personnel. The application of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) photogrammetry technology was proposed to promote the geological environment governance and restoration in Jinchuan Mine year by year and stage by stage. The research results show that the high-precision real-scene 3D model of the surface of Jinchuan Mine built based on UAV photogrammetry technology can obtain more intuitive, vivid, and visual geological environment information of Jinchuan Mine, facilitating the formulation of more scientific and reasonable governance and restoration plans and designs. It can also dynamically track, monitor in real time and compare the effects of the construction progress, engineering volume, and construction effectiveness of the governance and restoration. This study effectively overcomes the deficiencies of traditional mine mapping technologies and improves the safety, efficiency and scientificity of mine geological environment governance. Additionally, reliable technical support and practical references are provided for regular treatment, dynamic supervision, and long-term ecological restoration of mine geological environments.
