The south slope of Jinbao Iron Mine dips 65° to 70°.It is mainly a steep layered rock slope with poor lithologic conditions and a well-developed jointed structure.Many landslide accidents have taken place in recent years,seriously affecting the safe production of mines.The digital borehole camera technology is used to carry out the borehole camera survey of the structural plane to obtain the inclination and dip angle of the dominant structural plane in the statistical area.Besides,numerical simulation of typical historical landslide profiles is carried out,and with the help of mine geological data,the landslide mechanism and landslide model are analyzed.In the case study of risk zones that are adjacent to the landslide zones,at the brink of landslide,and have similar geological conditions with the histori-cal landslides,the reinforcement measures of long bolt assisted by lattice beam are advised to the landslide zones and risk zones,and the feasibility of the reinforcement scheme is verified by numerical simulation.According to the experiment,the landslide mechanism of consequent layered rock slope in the soulh of Jinbao Iron Mine is concluded to be the fracture failure of upper part shearing and lower part tension,and the corresponding slope treatment scheme is given,which can provide references for the maintenance of similar open-pit steep layered rock slopes.
