When an arsenic-containing silver concentrate adopts direct cyanidation or roasting-acid leaching-cyanidation process, the silver leaching rate is lower than 70 % and the valuable metal silver can not be effectively recovered. In light of that, the two-stage roasting-cyanidation silver extraction process is studied. The results show that the silver recovery effect is good when the concentrate is roasted to remove arsenic, sulfur and carbon in the first stage, roasted for chlorination with medium temperature in the second stage, washed in hot water, and leached by cyanidation;the silver leaching rate can be up to 95.89 % with the roasting temperature 600 ℃ in the first stage, the calcium chloride addition of 50 kg/t in the second stage, roasting temperature 630 ℃,the roasting time 60 min,the hot water washing temperature 70 ℃-80 ℃,the washing time 60 min,the mass concentration of sodium cyanide 2.0-2.5 g/L,and the cyanide leaching time 24 h.
