In light of the problems such as large differences in roadway stability,uneven roadway support quality,high support cost,and slow tunneling speed,a comprehensive method was adopted to classify roadway surrounding rock of soft and hard layered rock mass.Combined with technical standard requirements and typical roadway support engineering practice experience,the support modes of Ⅰ-Ⅴ grade roadway of soft and hard layered rock mass and their parameter index range values were proposed.Under the engineering geological conditions of typical soft and hard layered rock mass in the east section of Mengku Iron Deposit,the design and construction of roadway classification support are simple and efficient,and the application effect is obvious.
