Abstract:

Based on a comprehensive study of relevant data on the Seri Gold-Silver Deposit, the genesis type of the deposit and the characteristics of geochemical anomalies at different scales were analyzed, and their geological significance was discussed. The results show that the gold and silver ore bodies are closely related to the late Indosinian granites in space and time, which are distributed over a large area in the mine area. The gold bodies are mainly controlled by NE fractures, and the silver bodies are mainly controlled by near EW fractures. There are obvious differences between gold and silver ore bodies, indicating that they are products of different metallogenic periods(stages). In addition to Au and Ag,Sn,Co,Ni,Pb,Zn,As,Sb,Mo,Bi,and other symbiotic or associated elements relatively develop in the comprehensive anomalies delineated by geochemical measurements at different scales (1∶200 000,1∶50 000,1∶25 000),and a few comprehensive anomalies are dominated by symbiotic or associated elements. The 1∶25 000 geochemical anomalies are dominated by Au (Ag,As),and the distant mineral anomalies are usually a combination of several elements such as Sn,Co,Ni,Pb,Zn,As,Sb,Mo,Bi,etc.,while the Au anomalies are weak;the near mineral anomalies of silver mineralization are dominated by Ag or Ag,Pb composite anomalies.1∶25 000 geochemical exploration distant mineral anomalies do not coincide with the spatial location of the mineralized zone.It should be traced to the top of the mountain and upstream of the water system according to the terrains and water system development of the anomaly area.
