Process mineralogy of a gold ore in Gansu

摘要:

为高效合理利用碲化金矿石,通过化学多元素分析、MLA、扫描电镜等手段对甘肃某金矿石进行了系统的工艺矿物学研究。研究结果表明:该矿石中金主要以针碲金银矿形式存在,金矿物的嵌布粒度主要分布在0.037 mm以下;该矿石中主要金属硫化物为黄铁矿,主要脉石矿物为石英,且黄铁矿是主要载体矿物,金的赋存形态主要为黄铁矿粒间金、黄铁矿裂隙金及黄铁矿包裹金。该矿石含有一定量的易泥化矿物(如绢云母、绿泥石),浮选过程易随精矿产品一起上浮,降低精矿品位,且该矿石在浸出过程中具有难以溶解、不易解离的特点,需要在细磨、高碱度且大充气量的条件下才能实现有效回收利用。综合考虑,将该矿石磨至粒度-0.074 mm占95 %时,可获得较佳的选矿指标。

Abstract:

To efficiently and rationally utilize gold telluride ore,systematic process mineralogy studies were carried out on gold ore in Gansu using chemical multi-element analysis,MLA,scanning electron microscopy,and other methods.The research results showed that gold in the ore mainly exists in the form of needle telluride gold-silver minerals,with the grain size mainly distributed below 0.037 mm;the main metal sulfides in the ore are pyrite and the main gangue mineral is quartz,and pyrite is the main carrier mineral.The occurrence forms of gold are mainly pyrite intergranular gold,pyrite fracture gold,and pyrite inclusion gold.The ore contains a certain amount of easily slime-forming minerals (such as sericite and chlorite),which are easy to float up with the concentrate during the flotation process,lowering the concentrate grade.Moreover,the ore has the characteristics of difficult dissolution and dissociation during the leaching process,which requires fine grinding,high alkalinity,and large air infusion capacity to achieve effective recovery and utilization.Considering all factors,the best mineral processing indicators can be achieved by grinding the ore to a particle size distribution of 95 %-0.074 mm.
