Wengkongba Copper Deposit is a typical volcanic sedimentary diagenetic and metallogenic+tectonic superimposed metallogenic copper deposit.Tectonics is relatively developed,mainly a series of near-SN folds and near-SN and EW faults.The ore-bearing strata are mainly the Songjiapo formation,and the lithology is basaltic andesite.1∶20 000 EH-4 high-frequency magnetotelluric survey and 1∶5 000 high-power IP intermediate gradient profile survey were carried out,and 3 prospecting target areas were delineated;by carrying out geophysical prospecting work such as 1∶10 000 high-precision magnetic survey and 1:10 000 IP intermediate gradient survey,3 metallogenic favorable areas and 1 metallogenic favorable belt have been delineated.The favorable prospecting target areas delineated by the 2 pieces of geophysical prospecting work have good compatibility.The 1:10 000 soil geochemical survey was carried out in the south of the mining area,and 2 Class A comprehensive anomalies were identified; the secondary halo profile survey was carried out in the north of the mining area,and 1 Class A comprehensive anomaly was determined.Through the comprehensive analysis of the geological characteristics,geophysical characteristics,geochemical characteristics,and deposit geological characteristics of the mining area,and based on the relationship between geophysical,geochemical anomalies and alteration,mineralization,a comprehensive geophysical and geochemical prospecting model is established.With this model,available industrial copper deposits are found in the mining area,which has accumulated experience for the exploration of this type of copper deposits in the Minle area.
