In a mine,fine-grained tailings are used for backfilling.However,the slurry concentration of the backfilling material is unstable,leading to pipe blockages or bursts,which seriously affects underground production continuity.Tests are conducted on the slump degree,spreadability,viscosity,and yield stress of fine-grained tailings,and combined with the analysis and calculation of the basic parameters of the stope backfilling.It can be seen that self-flowing transport can be achieved when the pipeline resistance is less than the natural pressure head.By calculating and adjusting the backfilling multiplier,self-flowing transport can be achieved by determining the concentration,flow rate,and diameter of the cemented slurry,providing an important theoretical basis for self-flowing transport backfilling on-site.
