In this paper,the rules of the reaction kinetics in the vacuum roasting pretreatment of carbonaceous gold ores were studied.The activation energy and pre-exponential factor of vacuum roasting of carbonaceous gold ores were calculated by Arrhenius equation,and the kinetic models of different stages were defined.The results showed that temperature was the key factor to control the reaction rate during the vacuum roasting pretreatment process.The higher the temperature was,the greater the mass loss rate was.The vacuum roasting process was pided into two stages:0-60 min and 60-120 min,which were controlled by interface chemical reaction and diffusion respectively.The appa-rent activation energy of the second stage was significantly lower than that of the first stage,indicating the thermal decomposition reaction and mass loss were mainly concentrated in this stage.
