In response to the fine-grained dissemination and low gold extraction rate during the all-sliming cyanide leaching process of a gold ore in Ghana,an experimental study on the flotation of the ore was conducted, and the results indicated that a closed-circuit flotation process consisting of once roughing, twice scavenging, and twice cleaning steps achieved a gold concentrate yield of 3.87 %,a gold grade of 86.95 g/t,and a gold recovery rate of 91.15 % when the optimal flotation conditions were a grinding fineness of -0.074 mm accounting for 85 %,a slurry pH of 6.5,a slurry concentration of 35 %,a collector dosage of 100 g/t ZJ-01,a 2# oil frother dosage of 60 g/t,and an activator dosage of 100 g/t copper sulfate. The indicators were favorable, significantly improving the economic benefits. The study provides important technical support for similar mines.
