Hatu Rare Earth Deposit is a newly discovered deposit in recent years, located north of the Middle Kunlun fault and geotectonically in the North Kunlun composite magmatic arc zone of the Eastern Kunlun orogenic belt. The tectonic-magmatic rocks are well-developed in the region. The intrusion rock bodies of the Middle Silurian in Hatu Rare Earth District are closely related to known rare earth mineralization. They are the main ore-hosting rocks of the ore body, with rock numbers I,II,and III,all of which are alkaline feldspar syenite.2 ore bodies,M1-1 and M1-2,and 2 mineralized bodies,M1-3 and M1-4,are delineated in rock body I;ore body M2-1,and 2 minera-lized bodies,M2-2 and M2-3,are delineated in rock body II.The ore (mineralized) bodies are mainly present in alkaline feldspar syenite. The deposit is a rare earth deposit related to alkaline feldspar syenite. It was formed by the mixing of mantle-derived magma from partial mantle melting and fusion in the asthenosphere and ancient crustal materials, followed by a high degree of evolution and magmatic self-metasomatism.Rare earth elements tend to be enriched in the latest alkaline feldspar syenite.
