The pre-treatment method of sodium peroxide base melting and the cationic exchange resin separation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry were used to determine the elements of iodine, boron, germanium, tin, arsenic, phosphorus, molybdenum and tantalum.Various experimental parameters were examined and the optimum parameters were determined. The results show that the correlation coefficient of the standard curve of iodine, boron, germanium, tin, arsenic, phosphorus, molybdenum and tantalum was all >0.999 0,the detection limits were 0.2 μg/g,1 μg/g,0.06 μg/g,0.2 μg/g,0.2 μg/g,10 μg/g,0.1 μg/g,0.01 μg/g,respectively.The accuracy was below 0.1 and the precision was below 10 %,meeting the requirement of DZ/T 0258—2014 Specifications for Multi-purpose Regional Geochemical Survey(1∶250 000).
