The gold determination by national standard fire assay weight method is complicated in operation, long in testing time, high in cost and pollutes the environment.Besides,it is not suitable for batch test. The experiment establishes activated carbon concentration-flame atomic absorption spectrometry to determine gold in gold concentrates. The effects of sample weight, roasting method, ashing temperature, interference elements and aqua regia content on the determination of gold are discussed. The determination scope of the method was 10.00 g/t to 150.00 g/t,the detection limit is 0.019 μg/mL,relative standard deviation of determination results ranged from 0.93 % to 2.56 %,and the recovery of reference material was in the range of 96.5 % to 103.1 %.The method is consistent to the national standard method, and is precise, accurate and low-cost,suitable for batch gold determination in gold concentrates.
