The impurity content in coarse silver powder obtained in the reduction of gold mud chloride leaching tailings and will affect the quality of silver powder obtained in the following electrowinning refining process.For the recovery of silver from the gold mud chloride leaching tailings in a gold smeltery,iron powder reduction method is used in the test.The parameters including iron powder dosage,pH,pulp temperature and liquid-solid ratio are optimized through condition test,and industrial application is carried out.The results show that when the iron powder dosage is 100 kg/t chloride leaching tailings,pH value is 2,liquid-solid ratio is 5:1,pulp temperature is 60 ℃,the silver grade in chloride leaching tailings is increased by over 30 percentage points,and the application outcome is good.
