Wolongquan Gold Deposit is pided into 3 ore sections:Dudian Ore Section,Taiyanggou Ore Section and Wangjiawaizi Ore Section.Each ore section is composed of multiple gold belts or ductile shear zones.The gold belts occur in the mica quartz schist in First Member of Gaixian Formation.It is composed of shear ductile shear zones with roughly parallel strike and different scale.It is distributed in NW direction,with a total length of more than 5 000 m and a gold grade of 3.56-31.77 g/t.The ore types are mainly gold-bearing quartz vein type,gold-bearing altered rock type and gold-bearing breccia type;the surrounding rock of the ore body is mainly the staurolite mica quartz schist in First Member of Gaixian Formation,intercalated with biotite granulite,shallow granulite and sericite quartzite,as well as vein rocks such as fine crystalline rock,diorite porphyrite and lamprophyre.Different degrees of silicification,pyritization,sericitization and sericitization developed,and early Jurassic magmatic rocks developed in the peripherals.Comprehensive analysis shows that Wolongquan Gold Deposit is a low temperature magmatic hydrothermal deposit.During the exploration,5 ore bodies were newly discovered in the south and north of ore belt IV of Wangjiawaizi Ore Section,indicating that the deep part of Wolongquan Gold Deposit has great prospecting potential.
