窑沟金矿床处于华北板块北缘中段和兴蒙造山带的衔接部位，隶属于赤峰—朝阳金成矿带东北段。矿区内矿体位于破火山口的断裂系统内，主要赋矿围岩为义县组流纹质岩屑晶屑凝灰岩；石英流体包裹体完全均一温度为159 ℃~245 ℃，盐度为1.22 %~11.72 %，具有低盐度、中低温成矿流体特征，为火山岩型金矿床。遥感异常信息解译显示，窑沟金矿区为羟基异常高度集中区。1∶5万水系沉积物测量圈出以Au为主的综合异常，1∶1万土壤地球化学测量发现具有异常内带的、以Au、Ag为主的土壤综合异常，其为重要的地球化学找矿标志。1∶5万航磁异常为低负磁性异常，1∶1万高精度磁测显示含矿断裂具有低磁性特征，1∶1万激电异常具有高极化率和低电阻率的特征，这些特征可作为地球物理找矿标志。地、物、化、遥综合信息找矿标志的建立，为在区域上寻找类似火山岩型金矿床提供了找矿依据。

Yaogou Gold Deposit is located at the junction of middle part at the north rim of North China Plate and Khingan-Monglia orogenic belt,which belongs to northeast section of Chifeng-Chaoyang gold metallogenic belt.The ore bodies in the mining district is located in the fault system on caldera,and the main ore-hosting wall rock is rhyolitic rock debris crystal tuff in Yixian Formation;complete homogeneous temperature of quartz fluid inclusions is 159 ℃-245 ℃,the salinity is 1.22 %-11.72 %,indicating low salinity and medium low temperature hydrothermal features,and that the deposit is volcanic rock type gold deposit.The  interpretation of remote sensing anomalous information shows that Yaogou Gold Deposit is highly concentrated hydroxyl anomalies.1∶50 000 stream sediment survey has delineated comprehensive anomalies dominated by Au.1∶10 000 soil geochemical survey has discovered the soil comprehensive anomalies dominated by Au and Ag within the anomalous belt.Both are important geochemical prospecting marks.1∶50 000 airborne magnetic anomaly is low negative magnetic anomalous.1∶10 000 high precision magnetic survey shows that ore-hosting faults are characterized by low magnetism,1∶10 000 induced electric anomalous is charac-terized by high polarization rate and low electric resistivity,which can be used as geophysical prospecting marks.The setting of the geological,geophysical,geochemical and remote sensing comprehensive information prospecting marks provide prospecting reference to look for similar volcanic rock type gold deposits in the district.
