Experimental research on the strong alkali pretreatment-cyanidation leaching of tellurium-bearing refractory gold ores from Shandong.The influence of factors such as grinding fineness,initial NaOH mass concentration,pretreatment time and quantity of ventilation on the leaching index was investigated.Production practice has also been carried out.The results show that small-scale test and production practice both can increase the cyanide leaching rate of the tellurium-bearing refractory gold ore from around 40 % to around 80 % with the joint process of strong alkali pretreatment-cyanide leaching conducted in grinding fineness of -0.074 mm accounting for 96 %,slurry concentration of 33 %,initial NaOH mass concentration of 50 g/L,agitation rate of 700 r/min,and pretreatment time of 16 h.The research results can be used as reference for recovery of gold from tellurium-bearing gold ores.
