As a major project of the mine,the vertical shaft plays a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient production of the mine.In order to restore the lifting capacity of the 1# vertical shaft in Chaihulanzi Gold Mine and solve the problem of the impact of surrounding rock fragmentation on the stability of the vertical shaft,the new downward displacement technology with overall concrete,bolt,metal mesh and wooden formwork joint support is employed to repair 1# vertical shaft to restore its lifting operation in F1 fault which is buried deeper,more affected by ground pressure and has fragmented upper wall.The technology is set to fulfill the purpose to support the entire vertical shaft with extremely fragmented roof with bolts.The results show that the new downward displacement technology has a good application effect in the 1# vertical shaft of Chaihulanzi Gold Mine,which not only shortens the repair period significantly,but also significantly improves the safety factor of the operation,greatly serving the purpose of mine production and running.
