Abstract:

The caving step is a core parameter of pillarless sublevel caving method, and determination of the caving step is important in reducing mining loss and ore dilution. The 37-2# ore body of Taiping Mining Company was used as the research object, and the stope numerical modeling method of mining process cycle simulation was established by combining the occurrence conditions of rock and mineral vein morphology of 37-2#ore body, using PFC2D grain flow numerical simulation software, which fits the actual situation.Taking the ore recovery rate as an index, the caving step from 37-2# ore body is determined to be 1.25-2.25 m by comparing the numerical simulation results under different working conditions, and an on-site industrial trial is conducted to determine the optimal step to be 1.50 m when sublevel height is 7 m,and the research results provide theoretical support for the on-site production construction.
