Determination of Ru/Rh in platinum-palladium slag by zinc fragmentation-alkali fusion-inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry

Abstract:

Platinum-palladium slag used in the experiment is the smelting slag produced in the refining process of copper anode sludge.It is very important to establish the determination method of ruthenium and rhodium in platinum-palladium slag to improve the recovery of precious metals in the smelting slag.Taking the platinum-palladium slag of a copper smelter in Henan as the detection object,zinc particles were used to crush the sample at a high temperature,and the crushed products were dissolved in hydrochloric acid to obtain enrichment that is fused by sodium peroxide.Finally,the constant volume was determined by ICP-AES,and Ru 245.553 nm and Rh 343.489 nm were used as the analytical spectral lines.The results show that the relative deviations (RSD) of ruthenium and rhodium were 1.10 %-2.20 %,and the recoveries of reference materials were 99.67 %-100.33 %.The method has good precision and accuracy.
