Abstract:

The Shihuiyao Copper Polymetallic District is located in the northern part of the Sauron-Silaran suture zone, and its metallogenetic geological conditions and prospecting potentials are favorable.Based on the 1:10 000 soil geochemical survey, the correlation analysis, cluster analysis, factor analysis, single element anomaly analysis, and comprehensive anomaly analysis of 10 kinds of ore-forming elements were carried out.And 64 single element anomalies and 5 comprehensive anomalies are delineated. The result shows that Au,Cu,Mo and Bi anomalies have multiple abnormally high points and high discreteness, indicating superior geological and geochemical conditions and great metallogenic potentials.Based on that, according to metallogenic geological conditions and mineralization characteristics,2 prospecting targets were selected. The single element anomalous concentration center in prospecting target is verified in the field, and 2 mineralized alteration zones are discovered, further demonstrating good prospecting prospects in Shihuiyao Copper Polymetallic District.
