Abstract:

A high-resolution continuous light source atomic absorption spectrometry to directly determine gold in ores is established in the study. The influence factors such as media and co-existing elements are optimized. The results show that the sample passed through a 180-mesh sieve, hydrochloric acid+nitric acid+perchloric acid was used to remove sulfur, and the sample was dissolved in aqua regia at 2 %-5 % of aqua regia medium, and at the wavelength of 242.80 nm,the gold content in the ore is directly determined by high-resolution continuous light source atomic absorption spectrometry in modeling background exclusion mode. The coexiting elements Cu,Ni,Fe,Ca,Mg and Si impose no impact on the determination. The relative standard deviation is not more than 5.0 %,the recovery of reference material is 96.7 %-104.0 % and the result is consistent with the standard value and the result of fire assay-spectrophotometry.The accuracy and precision both meet the requirement.
