Technical renovation and practice of grinding and flotation process in a gold ore-dressing plant

Abstract:

Based on the ore property,a gold ore-dressing plant in Liaoning Province carried out technical renovation and studied the application of new reagents to stabilize production and fully explore the improvement potentials of production technical index and improve the daily treatment capacity and gold recovery rate of the plant.The plant renovated the middling crushing linings of the two-stage cone crusher HP300 to fine crushing linings,and at the same time reduced the size of vibrating  screen meshes,which lowered the grain height of the feeding product of grinding from -12 mm 90 % to spiral in the -10 mm 90 % while maintaining the treatment capacity;by renovating the linings of ball mill and the height of the reverse spiral in the discharge device,the effective volume of the ball mill is increased,the grinding capacity is increased from 900 t/d to 1 200 t/d,and the grain size distribution of the grinding products is more reasonable;the more effective collector RX01 is used to replace the previous butyl xanthate while preserving the gold concentrate grade,the gold grade of the final flotation tailings is reduced from 0.188 g/t to 0.160 g/t.After the technical renovation,33 kg more gold metal is produced annually,creating 6 million yuan more profits for the enterprise.
