Abstract:

By means of chemical analysis,X-ray diffractometry, polarizing microscope, and scanning electron microscope, the process mineralogy of a gold ore in Qinghai Province was studied, and the mineral composition, metallic mineral, and gangue mineral distribution characteristics and disseminated particle size of the ore were found out.The results show that the recoverable element in the ore is gold, the grade of raw gold is 4.95 g/t,the grade of silver is 5.00 g/t,and the ore types are strongly broken quartzite (vein) type gold ore and strongly altered broken tuff type gold ore.The main metal minerals in the ore are arsenopyrite, pyrite, limonite,a small amount of chalcopyrite, and native gold;and the gangue minerals are quartz, sericite (white) mica, biotite, carbonate minerals, tourmaline, and so on.The occurrence state of gold in the ore is mainly bare and semi-bare native gold.According to the nature of the ore, after the comparison of the test results, the recommended process is the process of Nelson gravity separation of raw ore-leaching of tailings with environment-friendly gold leaching agent.
