Geochemical anomaly characteristics,prospecting potential and prospecting effect in Nuomuhongguole area,Dulan,Qinghai Province

Abstract:

The Nuomuhongguole area is located in the east of East Kunlun and belongs to Bokalike-Xiangride Au-Cu-Pb-Zn-Fe-Ni-Ag-W-Mo-graphite-fluorite-jade-coal-granite sub-metallogenic belt.The strata are not developed in the area,and the NW trending fault structure is developed.The magmatic rocks mainly include the Early Permian and Late Triassic intermediate acid intrusive rocks,involving a 1∶25 000 stream sediment comprehensive anomaly(Nuomuhongguole GA5).The anomaly area is large,and the main element is Mo.The anomaly combination elements are Cu,Au,Sb,and W.Among them,Mo,Au and W have a triple concentration zoning.Each of the element anomalies overlaps closely and has favorable ore-forming geological conditions.Based on preliminary anomaly verification,4 copper,silver,and gold ore(mineralized) bodies are delineated.Compared to Balong Rock Gold Deposit,the study thinks that the geological settings,fractured alteration zone,and mineralization characteristics are similar,that the fault provides transfer channels and enrichment space for elemental mineralization such as gold while thermal fluids activities,especially the injection of quartz vein thermal fluids,provides heat source and transfer media for the activation migration and enrichment of elements such as gold.Through the prospecting,the alteration zones delineated and ore body scales and numbers are all increased to some extent,delineating 5 ore(mineralized)bodies.The prospecting effect is good,indicating that the area has the potential for prospecting structural hydrothermal fluid gold polymetallic deposits similar to the Balong Rock Gold Deposit.
