Abstract:

The cyanide process to recover gold and silver from a copper-bearing gold oxide ore is characterized by high consumption of sodium cyanide and a low leaching rate of gold and silver.Copper, among other valuable mine-rals,is difficult to efficiently recover, and cyanide tailings are difficult to dispose of.A process for recovering gold, silver, and copper from the copper-bearing gold oxide ore is proposed through experiments. When the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm accounts for 90 %,10 % sulfuric acid is used for heated acid leaching of copper, and gold and silver are leached from the gold-bearing acid residue by ammonium salts+environmentally friendly gold leaching reagent BK516,the gold, silver, and copper recovery rates are 88.85 %,82.59 %,and 83.77 % respectively.Valuable metals such as gold, silver, and copper are effectively recovered.Meanwhile, the study provides novel processes for the comprehensive treatment of similar ores.
