Experimental study on the simulation of underground water environment effect after backfilling with detoxified cyanide tailings

Abstract:

The detoxified cyanide tailings in the gold industry are used as the main backfill materials.After curing,the tailings are crushed separately.The indoor static leaching test is carried out to detect the leaching properties before and after crushing the filling body.The risks of pollutant leaching from the cyanide tailings filling body when leached in underground water are evaluated.The test results show that the when toxicity leaching test is carried out on the cyanide tailings filling body after curing,the test indexes meet the standards of Ⅲ water body quality stipulated in GB/T 14848—2017 Standard for Groundwater Quality in the static leaching test,in the leaching solutions of the samples with different particle diameters,the total copper,total lead,total zinc,total arsenic,total mercury,total cadmium,chromium(hexavalent),WAD cyanide index all increase with leaching periods,and stabilizes gradually after 30 d.The detection index mass concentration is far lower compared to Ⅲ water body quality stipulated in GB/T 14848—2017 Standard for Groundwater Quality indicating that it has little impact on underground water quality grades.
