Abstract:

Xunke Gold Mine innovatively adopts Simba1354 jumbos to drill medium-long holes in cutting shafts and optimizes the cutting manner, borehole diameter, construction precision, charge structure, and blasting times.Barrel-shaped cutting is chosen to offer a free face and compensation room.120 mm large-diameter boreholes can lead to fewer perforation numbers.Guiding drill rod improves construction precision. The blasting effect was improved by increasing the charge density and adding detonating cords, and the probability of raise blocking was reduced by sub-blasting.Medium-long hole blasting was successfully implemented with this method, which improved the production efficiency and reduced the safety risks such as blasting smoke, dust, and pumice in the excavation of the raise. The mining output and the production continuity of each production ore block are ensured, which provides a powerful gua-rantee for the progress of the project. The method provides references and experience for mining in similar mines.
