The Datangchong Ore Section of the Wangu Gold District is located in the east part of the Wangu Gold District.It is a newly established gold exploration area in recent years.Based on the detailed field geological survey,this paper determines the type and genesis of the deposit,explores the metallogenic regularity,and points out further prospecting direction.The research results show that the gold-bearing vein belts in Datangchong Ore Section are controlled by the NW(W)-trending and N(N)E-dipping fault fracture zone composed of structural breccia,quartz veinlets,and altered slate.The ore structures are mainly block structures,breccia structures,strip structures,slate structures,and so on.The ore textures include fragment texture,breccia texture,microscopic lepidoblastic texture,mosaic texture,and so on.The ore types are mainly quartz vein type,altered fractured slate type,structural breccia type,and altered slate type.The deposit genesis type of Datangchong Ore Section is a post-magmatic tele-mesothermal hydrothermal gold deposit controlled by fault structure,and the ore body is generally enriched in the gentle wavy bending and fault branches; NW(W) and near EW faults or interlayer detachment zones,sections with strong silicification,sericitization,pyritization,arsenopyrization,stibium mineralization,and tarnishing,and composite anomalies of Au,as,Sb,Hg and heavy sand anomalies of gold are important gold prospecting indicators.It is proposed that No.14 is a favorable ore-forming vein for further exploration,which has great prospecting potential.
