Abstract:

A large amount of rock dust is produced during the drilling, blasting, shoveling, and loading of the metal and non-metal underground mines and causes high dust concentration in the shaft space and endangers the health of workers and the working environment.Given that,in this paper, the tunneling roadway of a gold mine is taken as the research object, and the forced ventilation model of the tunneling roadway is established.According to the gas-solid two-phase flow theory combined with the field measurement data, the dust removal effect under different arrangement conditions of the air duct cloth is analyzed by using Fluent software, and the dust migration law and the wind speed distribution in the roadway are obtained. The research finds that the forced airflow of the fan forms a vortex near the face that carries dust in a vortex around the face which is not conducive to the discharge of dust, and the airflow about 7-8 m away from the face gradually flows to the return air lane;when the outlet of the air duct is 8 m away from the face and the height is 1.5 m,the dust in the tunnel is discharged quickly and the dust removal effect is the most ideal. The research results have a certain guiding significance for the prevention and control of dust in the tunneling face.
