Geological characteristics and ore-prospecting indicators in Yidonglinchang Gold Polymetallic Deposit,the Lesser Khingan Range

Abstract:

Yidonglinchang Gold Polymetallic Deposit occurs in intermediate acid volcanic-subvolcanic rocks of the Ningyuancun Formation.The ore types are mainly carbonate quartz veins and silicified breccia,and the ore-forming geological body is diorite porphyrite and dacite porphyrite.The metallic minerals in the ore are electrum,argentite,native silver,pyrite,chalcopyrite,sphalerite,galena,and so on.The minerals containing gold and silver are mainly electrum,argentite,and native silver.The gangue minerals mainly include quartz,calcite,plagioclase,sericite,and minor content of gypsum.Major ore textures are euhedral-subhedral-anhedral texture,cataclastic texture,metasomatic texture,and inclusion texture.Major ore structures are colloform structure,cavernous structure,comb structure,crystal cluster structure,sparsely disseminated structure,dense massive structure,breccia structure,stockwork structure,and blade structure.The wall rock alteration includes silicification,carbonation,sericitization,clayization,chloritization,and epidotization.With the ore body as the center,a typical epithermal alteration belt is developed from the inside out:silicification zone,beresitization zone,argillation zone,and propylitization zone,generally taking the form of rings.Based on typical deposit analysis,the study takes the volcano-subvolcanic rocks in the Ningyuancun Formation,strong silicification,carbonation,and quartz veins,NEE and near-EW faults,Au,Ag,As,and Sb combination anomalies,low polarization high resistivity,and negative magnetic anomaly as important prospecting indicators in Yidonglinchang Gold Polymetallic Deposit.
