Few pieces of research are carried out on the anti-seepage mode of dry stacking tailings ponds and 3D seepage analysis.A dry stacking tailings pond was designed to carry out early dam internal breaking and overall anti-seepage within the pond area,and discharge seepage with gravel discharge wells and discharge pads.Autobank 3D is used to establish a 3D model and analyze the seepage face and seepage line in the absence of seepage discharge pads.The results show that without seepage discharge pads,the seepage face is buried shallow at the turning of the right bank of the downstream dam slope and runaway areas appear;with seepage discharge pads,the burial depth of the seepage face can reach over 12 m,which means that the seepage discharge pads have a great influence on seepage.
