Abstract:

A copper-zinc polymetallic sulfide ore contains 0.38 % copper,1.69 % zinc, and 12.48 % sulfur,of which copper, zinc, and sulfur are the main valuable elements for recovery. To achieve effective separation and recovery of copper, zinc, and sulfur, experimental research on the ore-dressing process and reagent regime was carried out.The results showed that using a copper-zinc-sulfur preferential flotation process, that is,separating copper first, then zinc, and finally sulfur, with Z-200 as the copper collector, zinc sulfate and sodium sulfite combination as the zinc depressant, lime as the sulfur depressant, and ethyl xanthate and butyl xanthate as the zinc collector,closed-circuit experiments obtained a copper grade of copper concentrates of 21.95 %,a copper recovery rate of 80.52 %;a zinc grade of zinc concentrates of  45.29 %,a zinc recovery rate of 83.22 %;and a sulfur grade of sulfur concentrates of 49.79 % and a sulfur recovery rate of 85.02 % for experimental indicators.
