Abstract:

On the basis of 1∶50 000 stream sediment survey in Yiluote River area of Heihe City, the analysis results of the samples are statistically analyzed.Based on the geological background, the distribution characteristics of element content, element correlation, and combined anomaly characteristics of 11 elements are summarized. It is found that Au,Ag,Mo and other elements have been enriched to varying degrees, which is likely to form such deposits.Based on the analysis of element correlation and the geological background of mineralization,it is concluded that the combined anomalies HS-10,HS-36 and HS-37 have good potential for ore exploration.1∶20 000 soil survey and surface engineering verification were carried out on the combined anomaly HS-37.Gold ore bodies were found in the center of Au element abnormal concentration, with a maximum grade of 1.26×10-6 and a maximum width of 3.0 m.It shows that the 1∶50 000 stream sediment survey has good application value in the prospecting and exploration of areas with severe vegetation cover similar to the Yiluote River area.
