Maoling ore concentration area is located in the western of Liaodong Peninsula,where a super large-scale and three medium-sized gold deposits have been verified.Most previous studies focus on inpidual gold deposit and seldom explore the geological features and spatial distribution of gold deposits from the perspective of the scale of ore concentration area.On the basis of comprehensive research on 32 gold deposits(occurrences) in Maoling ore concentration area,according to the theory of hydrothermal mineralization,the genesis type of gold deposits can be pided into 3 types:①hydrothermal alteration rock type,which is the main type and the ore body mainly occurs in the clastic metamorphic sedimentary construction of the upper part of the Liaohe Group,with a large gold resource reserve;②hydrothermal alteration-quartz vein type,with the ore body mainly occurring in the contact zone between the Liaohe Group and the rock mass;③hydrothermal quartz vein type,with the ore body mainly occurring in the Mesozoic magmatic rock system.The gold deposits in the Maoling mining district are spatially distributed in a near NW direction,consistent with the spatial distribution of the Gaixian Formation of the Liaohe Group,showing a specific gold mineralization property.The gold deposits surround the Mesozoic Wolongquan rock mass,with gold mineralization mainly occurring west of the rock mass and lead-zinc mineralization mainly occurring east of the rock mass.The Maoling ore concentration area is a hydrothermal ore-forming system associated with the metamorphic sedimentary construction of the Liaohe Group and Mesozoic intrusive rocks.
