Abstract:

West Qinling orogenic belt is one of the most important gold metallogenic belts in China, where large and super-large gold deposits have been found, such as Zaozigou,Jiagantan,Yidinan,Jiamulong and so on.The formation of the gold deposits is closely related to intermediate acidic intrusive rocks. On the basis of summarizing predecessors’ achievements, the Jianglongwa rock mass is discovered in Jianglongwa area,Xiahe County,Gansu Province for the first time in field projects.Based on the study of geological characteristics, stream sediment geochemical characteristics and geophysical characteristics of ground high precision magnetic,as well as the characteristics of Jianglongwa rock mass,it is believed that prospecting potential for finding gold polymetallic deposits in Jianglongwa area.Verified by anomalies, mineralized bodies have been discovered. This prospecting approach provides certain reference for the prospecting of similar deposits in the surroundings of Jianglongwa area.
