Abstract:

The production process of mineral resources generates a large amount of acid mine drainage, which is highly acidic, has a high sulfate content, and contains multiple heavy metal ions, easily leading to environmental pollution. In this experiment, biochar adsorption-precipitation method was used to remove heavy metal ions from acid mine drainage. The biochar was produced from corn stalk through pyrolysis at 600 ℃.The study investigated its effect on copper removal from acid mine drainage and the adsorption capacity of the regenerated biochar adsorbent.Subsequently, the precipitation method was used to remove other heavy metals, and the treated wastewater met the Class I discharge standard requirements of GB 8978-1996 Comprehensive Wastewater Discharge Standard.
