According to the engineering geological conditions of a mine,combined with existing mining methods,Mathews stability graphic method was used and obtained the stope length,maximum width,and exposure area under stable and caving conditions,so as to optimize the structure of mining methods.The stope structure parameter is preliminarily determined.Flac3D software was used to numerically simulate the optimized mining method,and verify the optimized stope structure parameter.Field applications indicate that using the optimized mining methods,the mining loss rate decreased from 24.72 % to 17.30 %,the ore dilution rate decreased from 16.91 % to 12.25 %,and the production capacity increased from 400 t/d to 420 t/d with significant effectiveness,showing promising application potential in similar mines.
