Experimental study on sulfur recovery from cyanide residue flotation tailings

Abstract:

In order to improve the resource utilization rate of  gold flotation tailings,the process mineralogy analysis,pyrite interface activation,and sulfur recovery from flotation tailings were experimentally studied.When ZJ-H02 is used as the activator,the pH of the slurry is 4.5,slurry pH is adjusted to 6.5 after pyrite interface activation for 1 h,isoamyl sodium xanthate dosage is 350 g/t,the slurry concentration is adjusted to 33 %,the sulfur concentrate with sulfur grade of 48.32 % can be obtained,and the recovery of sulfur is 93.37 %.
