Abstract:

In response to the problem of excessive sodium cyanide consumption and the difficulty in comprehensive recovery of valuable metals such as gold, copper, sulfur, and  iron  in a copper-bearing gold ore during the all-sliming cyanide leaching process,a new process flow is adopted for beneficiation. The experimental results indicate that through a process flow consisting of bulk flotation-copper extraction from flotation concentrate by roasting and acid leaching-acid leaching tailings cyanide leaching for gold-environmentally friendly gold extraction from flotation tailings, the recovery rates of gold, silver, copper, and sulfur are 94.38 %,92.01 %,89.19 %,and 95.12 %,respectively;furthermore,an iron concentrate with an iron grade of 65.85 % and an iron productivity of 30.05 % can be obtained, achieving comprehensive recovery of valuable elements such as gold, copper, sulfur, and iron from the copper-bearing gold ore and significantly improving economic benefits and resource utilization.
