The generation of a large amount of dust during the ore unloading process in underground metal mine unloading stations has a detrimental impact on the working environment. In response to the dust pollution at the -652 m horizontal unloading station in a gold mine,a dust control approach combining closed dust extraction with high-efficiency purification and fog-type dry dust suppression is implemented.Additionally, the unloading height of the station is reduced, and measures such as control of dust concentration exceeding the limit at workstations and automation technology for unloading operations are employed.Practice shows that the dust reduction efficiency of the unloading station exceeds 90 %,the dust concentration at workstations meets national standards, and underground mine unloading station dust pollution can be effectively controlled.
