Studies and control of copper content in the smelting slag of large-scale oxygen-enriched bottom-blowing furnace

Abstract:

Production operation data from a large-scale oxygen-enriched bottom-blowing furnace in Zhongyuan smelting plant were analyzed to study the main factors affecting copper content in slag,and corresponding control mea-sures were developed.The results showed that the copper content in the slag of the bottom-blowing furnace decreased from above 6 % to 3.32 %,effectively addressing the problem of high copper content in slag in the bottom-blowing furnace under high treatment capacity.This study provides technical references for similar enterprises.
