Abstract:

In order to roughly understand the geological conditions and mineral resource characteristics of the Beishan and Shuanggoushan areas, two 1∶50 000 mineral prospective surveys were carried out in Subei County,Gansu Province. After 4 years of work, the stratigraphy in the study area was detailed and repided, and the magmatic evolution sequence and tectonic framework were established. For the first time, ultrabasic rocks were discovered in the acidic rocks of the northern Ma’anshan, and the formation age of the diorite porphyry north of the Sidingheishan-Shuanggoushan fault was determined to be Early Devonian, and the formation age of the plagioclase biotite quartz schist south of the Ganheliang was determined to be Neoproterozoic-Paleoproterozoic;2 new mineral deposits,7 mineral points, and 8 mineralized points were discovered, among which the Shuanggoushan copper-nickel deposit is a new breakthrough in the northern zone of the Eastern Tianshan copper-nickel mineralization zone in Gansu Province.Through comprehensive research,6 prospective areas and 10 prospecting targets were delineated in the study area, which provides direction for future prospecting work.
