Abstract:

The arsenic-bearing gold concentrate in Tajikistan has typical characteristics of refractory gold concentrate, with a gold grade of 73.27 g/t,arsenic grade of 6.61 %,and sulfur grade of 16.78 %.When treated with direct cyanidation CIP process, the gold leaching rate was only 88.02 %.In order to improve the gold leaching rate, experimental studies on two-stage roasting-leaching of arsenic-bearing gold concentrate were conducted, and the roasted slag was leached using the environmentally friendly leaching agent. The final results showed a good indicator of the gold grade in the leached residue at 4.32 g/t,with a gold leaching rate of 95.43 %.This represents an increase of 7.41 percentage points compared to the direct cyanidation CIP process. The study provides guidance for the processing of similar types of gold ore resources.
