Abstract:

Addressing the issue of heat hazards in an ultra-deep mine, the VentsimTM DESIGN 5.4 3D ventilation software was utilized to simulate and calculate the mines underground ventilation system.By comparing the required airflow enthalpy difference through thermal load calculations,it was determined that in the first phase of the mine project, increasing the airflow could reduce the working faces meteorological environment to within the limits allowed by national safety regulations (wet-bulb temperature not exceeding 27 ).However,in the second phase, increasing the airflow alone could not resolve the high-temperature issue underground.Based on thermal simulation calculations and analysis,3 refrigeration stations were placed in specific locations according to the current conditions of the mine. The required load for each refrigeration station was calculated, and suitable refrigeration units were selected accordingly.
