Shuiyindong Gold Geposit is one of the super-large gold deposits in the southwestern region of Guizhou.Due to years of mining and expansion of production, the remaining resources are becoming increasingly scarce, necessitating comprehensive research on metallogenic regularities and an analysis of metallogenic potential.Based on a comprehensive analysis of previous data and field investigations,it is suggested that the metallogenic geological body of Shuiyindong Gold Deposit is a deep concealed magmatic body. The metallogenic structure is the Huijiapu anticline and the thrust faults on both sides, while the metallogenic structural surfaces include the shallow Triassic strata fracture surfaces, the interlayer fracture surfaces within the Longtan Formation, and the unconformity contact surfaces between the Longtan and Maokou formations. The mineralization exhibits a distinct vertical zonation.By integrating geophysical and geochemical information,a prospecting prediction model was constructed, identifying 5 potential prospecting areas: the controlled boundary area (including the northern and southern boundaries of known orebodies or mining rights),the area for new mineralization styles or new mineral types (east of Bojitian ore section),the area for new types/spatial prospecting (deep in the uplifted area within the Shuiyindong mining rights),the area for new prospecting directions (the southwestern anticline of the mining area, such as the Aimeidong anticline),and the exploratory prospecting area (the area from west Shuiyindong mining right boundary in Huijiapu anticline to Huilong fault),providing a reference for further prospecting predictions.
