High-precision magnetic surveys are one of the key methods for mineral exploration. These surveys provide valuable information from both shallow and deep sources, and they are effective in inferring concealed geological structures.By identifying the magnetic characteristics of different lithologies, the morphology and spatial distribution of geological bodies can be discerned, which in turn guides mineral exploration indirectly.Haobugao Copper-Zinc Deposit is located in Huanggang-Ganzhuermiao tin polymetallic metallogenic belt in the southern Greater Khingan Range. The ore bodies are primarily hosted within the skarn in the sliding zone between Permian Dashizhai Formation marble and silty slate layers, with some hosted within the contact zone between marble and concealed biotite granite, displaying typical characteristics of skarn-type deposits.Through the detailed geological structure interpretation of high-precision magnetic survey data, combined with geological exploration results, the variations in the occurrences of ore-controlling structures and the morphology and scale of ore-forming geological bodies were analyzed and summarized. This helped identify ore-controlling factors and exploration indicators, assess exploration directions for deep and peripheral areas, and provide a basis for the layout of future exploration projects.
