Jinchangyu Gold Deposit, one of the largest and oldest deposits in the Eastern Hebei ore concentration area, has made a significant contribution to China’s gold reserves. At present, exploration has reached a bottleneck. To address the critical issue of increasing reserves in the deeper parts,a systematic study was conducted based on the Trinity exploration theory and methods.A metallogenic prediction model was established to guide deep-edge exploration.Through large-scale structural and mineralization alteration mapping of typical sections and roadways in Jinchangyu Gold Deposit, the mineralizing structures, and structural planes were identified, and their spatial distribution was characterized. The relationship between the metallogenic geological body, mineralizing structures, structural planes, and mineralization features was further analyzed, leading to the preliminary construction of a Trinity metallogenic prediction model. The deep exploration target is suggested to focus on the V vein from Exploration Line 0 to 55,with elevations between -1 000 and -600 m.The peripheral exploration targets should be on the west side of the Ⅰ,Ⅲ,and Ⅳ veins.Preliminary engineering verification indicated that the Trinity metallogenic prediction model is effective, providing realistic guidance for continuous exploration and production in Jinchangyu Gold Deposit.
