Abstract:

The mass concentration of impurity ions such as copper, iron and nickel increases with the circulation times of cyanide heap leaching barren solutions in Changshanhao Gold Mine, leading to the complexation with cyanogen ions difficult to disassociate and directly affecting the cyanide gold extraction efficiency and flowsheet. The experiment chose the adsorption-elution method using the Na3TMT composite flocculant-loaded resin selective for heavy metals and achieved the goal of reducing impurity ions in the heap leaching circulating solution without interfering with gold extraction. The heavy metals selective resin can remove more than 90 % of the copper, nickel and iron from the heap leaching circulating solution, and the copper and nickel content meets the industrial wastewater emission standards; the mass concentration of copper enriched in the eluted solution is about 3 000 mg/L,making the copper worth recovering.
